12/10:Spuds - Ran into minor issues but tonight progressed well. There was also some initial setup work to make the other servers faster to upgrade!
12/11:Snow - Made a lot of progress this evening! Spuds rewrote the permission file which is now a lot more organized and efficient! Few minor plugins to go in then we can start the final test! Awaiting final database connection for block logger
12/12:Spuds - Database for our block logging has been setup. There are a few minor smp config issues we'll be ironing out during testing. Lobby is progessing well. The nice thing about this is as we complete one server the others are completed a lot faster. More soon.=]
12/12:Jupiter - I felt left out because I haven't left a note. I'm an admin too. Just thought I'd join in.
13/12:Spuds - Ran into some serious issues with lobby tonight. It's been patched up now. Things are falling into place with it. Almost there guys

Afaik that will indeed cause some delay. But since this update isn't as major as the actual 1.7 update, it shouldn't cause too much delay

Now, I know you guys can't give a reliable date for us to be able to get on to the server, but by looking at the progress now; is it safe to say it will be open this after this weekend?

If everything goes to plan it could be this weekend or if we hit a few speed bumps then it will be after this weekend.

just so you knw 1.7.3/1.7.4 is just really client side updates so its backwards compatable with 1.7.2 with no problems, i should know

Pixlemon is a forgemodloader mod so you need to have FML installed into your minecraft folder and get pixlemon

We start a training program to train scientists to be able to update the server quickly, then time travel into the future when they finish their training, kidnap them, then update the servers.

Basically we send some guys into the future to grab a copy of the updated software. Then take that data back here.

Is everything going to be released at one time? Like will SMP be released when CMP, Lobby, Hub and Pixelmon are ready? Or will they be released as they get ready

@qwerty Idealy, we want all the servers to be a nice state before we go live. However, becuase we can keep working through early access, we will drop Lobby, SMP & CMP initatlly. EVA_Spartan_213 is working on HUB and PIXELMON with spuds and my assistance.
We are still targeting this weekend! Fingers crossed all goes to plan!

Just a quick update!
We are now in the final testing for SMP and LOBBY which means we are now in a state of transition.
In a nut shell, while in a state of transition we cant house all old and new servers coming online at the same time, so we have chosen to bring down all servers on the old network except old LOBBY and old SMP.
Once new SMP early access opens, old lobby will go down and the old SMP ip will change.
There's light at the end of the tunnel!

FYI, Ghasts now do block damage in the nether, this was always meant to be the case but I just noticed it wasn't =/
