ok so i was thinking about adding another rank, this rank would be somewhat like a trusted rank ,but!, it would be called 'spy rank' , this rank would have you still the same looking regular player in dark blue, so what it is , is that people who use nodus/hack client's when no admin/mod/trusted user is around , the "spy" would know when they use it without them even knowing there be watched , the "spy" could then send this infromation to a higher rank, "admin/mod", and could would stop the nodus/hacker's resulting a ban.
this is just a idea , i have no idea if this was thought about before , and has failed , or, could be a thought to the admin's/mod's out there.

"spy" is just another term for trusted players , just with dark blue name and he wouldnt be shown on the staff list , hence the name "spy"

People would still remember who these "spy" people are if their names are dark blue. Silly idea imo.

Every single user is a spy with a dark blue name that reports to mods or admins if they see people hacking. So it's basically already in place. And also, how would you know even if that was a rank? We wouldn't tell people who the spys were.. So for all you know, maybe it already is....

But its not a bad idea. From what I have seen, generally trusted leads to staff, and admin is better than staff...
What if there was a new rank introduced that wasnt necessarily in that chain.
Maybe even something one could obtain in-game...
Just a thought. I mean y not?

i dont know if you read that 'spy is just another term for trusted user", regular players dont have commands like trusted user's , now do they?, regular player's cant contact higher ranked people, then leading to the nodus user to then greif or hack.
this "greif" would have been stoped earler,but since no one could get contacted to a admin or mod, this would have saved alot of time if it was looked over when the "greif" happened.

Grief can be roll backed, Snow or a admin could easily do /rollback
or something for the command to rollback there are lots of plugins to help with it and I bet they have at least 1 that does that, this is a good idea but we already tryed it, sorry Random but we wont be having the rank "spy" any time soon, we already tryed the same thing a bit ago and it failed.

1) Regular players have ways of contacting staff, all of the ways that me or other staff members contact one another, which is through irc or /mail. Not sure what you're talking about when you say the spy would have some special way of doing that.
2) Again, how would any of you know if this rank already exsisted? Maybe we have people who can do more then you that are meant to keep an eye on you that you don't know about. The main point there would be that you didn't know about them. Spys don't do much good if people know they're a spy.

Jup's point is clear, and Snow already said No. And Snow is high encharge of the servers, besides Jup already said it, you never know if a player was a member and a spy, as in he had permissions unlike other guest.
