I decided to try out the World of Minecraft client. It seems cool with the flying and all, but I can't get it to connect to the server I've been playing on up till now.

Using the regular minecraft client I can connect to my game fine, but the World of Minecraft client won't accept it, I just get dropped into a single player classic map. Definitely not what I want. Does the server have to be created using a World of Minecraft client or something?

I tried: http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?ip=[ipHERE]&port=[portHERE]

Obviously I replaced the bracketed text with my ip and port, but when I clicked connect, I got dropped into a brand new single player map.
