ABOUT
This WoM edition external Minecraft client wrapper allows you to perform special actions that aren't normally available in the web based client and doesn't require a browser to be loaded while you play.NOTE:
AS PER THE MINECRAFT DISTRIBUTION POLICY: This package does not contain the original client code "minecraft.jar" which is copyright and the intellectual property of Mojang Specifications. We do not have the right to package this file and distribute it to you, so you will need to download this component from the official minecraft website and place it into the lib folder of the extracted custom client wrapper package yourself. To start up the game, simply download our client wrapper package below, extract it, put the official minecraft.jar (which you downloaded from the official site as per the above notice) into the lib folder and then execute run.bat. The external client application will prompt you for your login details and then allow you to select from the available servers, or enter your own server link to connect.USAGE
When the client application completes loading you will be able to access the following special functions: Keys W A S D - movement keys as normal. Z - press to toggle on/off fly mode. X - noclip mode while held down. Q E - up and down when in fly mode. Shift - Turn on 5x speed while held down. Ctrl - Turn on 2x speed while held down. Noclip mode Hold down the X key while moving/flying to go through solid objects or outside the normal map boundaries. If you release the button while inside solid block or outside the map, you will get stuck. Simply hold down again to continue moving.TROUBLESHOOTING

Well, it seems that the new client (1.5) has a "special" feature. YOU FREAKING DISCONNECT EVERYONE IN THE SERVER PERIODICALLY!!! Sorry for the flame. I am very mad about this!! Could anyone help me?

ey a good way that worked for me is, i deleted all the old traces of the World of Minecraft client (went to "search" and typed minecraft) then when it showed the list of the minecrafts i deleted all of them and went to recycle bin and emptied it and re downloaded everything and put the jar in lib again and ran it. Hope this helped!

The lib folder should be inside the World of Minecraft client's folder. If you don't see it at first, do some exploring within it's folders. If all else fails, you might need to unzip the file.

This problem has been fixed. It was there since it didn't support minecraft.jar version .30.
Either download the client version 1.5.9 or download the .29.

Same problem as geoface, turning with th mouse causes acceleration, so move the mouse too quickly and I spin uncontrollably
It still works properly with exception of aiming, and unless you move the mouse in excrutiatingly small gestures it's nigh impossible to actually do anything

When it downloads the "Update", it's downloading the Minecraft Beta .jar file. Go ahead and download the Classic .jar, place it in the lib, download the "Update" and then look at it's size, over 600 KBs increase. Also, go inside the .jar with a program like 7-Zip, you can see all the Beta files.

You can then load this map file in OMEN or using the vanilla minecraft server.

God dam it. i was so happy that the hacks were gone and now there back. did any one else see for the past few days there were less griefers. maby thats because it would be a lot harder to grief without the hacks. so thanks for starting it up again. i had stoped playing creative mode befor the update because of the grief and had started again with the new blocks and was enjoying playing with other people but i guess it will be short lived. i know griefers can be maneged ok with a good team of ops but the 24/7 servers still get f***ed by the no-cliping griefers. so with these new hacks we will probably get griefed just like we did befor. so thank looking forward to good times ahead.

The normal hacks such as the speedhack, the flight hack and the other things that are included are genuinely useful, and only a totally moronic OP wouldn't be able to ban a griever using them. And it's still just as easy to ban a no-clipper as you can still execute the ban commands without being able to see players, just figure out who is grieving, and ban them, simple enough.
And grievers don't need hacks to grief, they can do their work just fine without them. I've seen a griever get through a fairly large map by himself fairly easily, no hacks, nobody tried to stop him as it wasn't incredibly obvious he was grieving unlike a hacking griever.

Dont mean to be a kill joy im puting my point out there. i dont mind hacks iv used them and helps make something awesone a lot easyer. my big problem is with the no-clip hack like you said its just its jjust for griefing and thats the one i have a problem with in a coment i asked the people to take it out and as i expected i got no reply and yes i know its not to hard to find one uless they are working to hide it but a grifer whos puting any work into it isent just going to just start by no-cliping out of jail. but what about the 24 hour servers. its late no ones on. its the best time for a grifer to have there way with the place and thats why i want no-clip gone. about your final bit there like i said befor i know that they dont need hacks but i bet it makes it a lot easyer and i never said it was imposible to grife a server without them but i bet the lack of hacks would turn the less determined griffers off grifing in the first place. so in conclusion i like the hacks and understand there use but think that in general it makes grifing easyer and the no-clip hacks is useless and should be removed all together.

The World of Minecraft "hacks" have NOT been fixed, as far as I know at least. What you may be seeing is people flying using flying.exe, which I don't think we're responsible for. In case you didn't know, using our wrapper is definitely not mandatory in order to play on our servers. If you are worried about being griefed then you should play on our servers and enjoy a grief-free experience. Our members love playing on our servers because griefing just doesn't exist here. We also have a great mixture of experienced crafters and newcomers. Plus, our administrative staff is always willing to help anyone who needs it.

so your saying f*** all the other servers if you want your sh*t to stand for any amount of time play on our server because we cant be griefed all the other servers can go to hell. you provide something that definitely makes building much easyer but no-clip is totaly unnecessary. speed and fly hacks are all good with me they make it easy but no-clips the real problem. from what i see you have somrthing like a monopoly on the minecraft comunity you give out the hacks that make it easy to grief but you dont care because you have a way to stop griefing all together so all the other servers have to deal with the grifers that get sent our way.

I would definitely not endorse a "to hell with other servers" attitude because I genuinely love this game and I respect others who do too. Instead of whining about how griefers use our "hacks" to grief other servers, perhaps time should be spent creating proper controls that safeguard against griefers. I hate to continue beating this dead horse, as I know, unfortunately, that this anti-World of Minecraft war will never truly die, but the wrapper is a gift created to help people build large and wonderful creations. We cannot and should not be held responsible for the jerks out there.

i to love minecraft and thats why i posted in the first place. id like to say that i have no problem with the World of Minecraft servers i like all the awesome stuff that gets built on them and by no means do i think that should stop. i have a problem with the hacks and more specifically the no-clip hack. i see no reason for it. trust me iv been playing minecraft for a good amount of time and have never use no-clip and i can get around fine. its not that hard. well i have a request could you please take the no-clip ability from your hack package. it would help all the other servers out. i know you said you were done with this but if you could take it into consideration not for me but for the other players who go out to build there wonderful creations only to find them full of holes the next day. we have all had it happen its not much fun so if you dont mind it could help the rest of us out.

I notice my character has some weight issues when I play. It falls and moves a lot heavier, and I am not able to float in water like normal. Also, the client seems to keep disconnecting me randomly (it was like this with the disconnecting just before I made the update to the latest client, too). I've only gone on the World of Minecraft server so far, though, so I'm not sure if the disconnecting is the problem of the client or of the server.
Other than that, it seems to work fine.

The disconnecting seems to happen with or without the wrapper. We've tried logging several people onto a vanilla server with only the original client and still get disconnects. I suspect it's an issue with the client rather than the wrapper.

As a quick experiment using the v1.5 client I tried going onto a non-World of Minecraft server.
In the 30 or so minutes I was there the client didn't disconnect once, this is as opposed to the roughly
5-10 minute (at times even more frequently) cycle of disconnects that were happening on the World of Minecraft servers.

I only got to play with it for a few minutes before I had to get back to work but for some reason everything works for me except noclip. Flying, ctrl and shift speed boosts work perfectly but I hold down X and nothing.

I don't know about anyone else, and I don't see anyone talking about it, but, the new World of Minecraft client 1.5.4 is giving me two odd issues. Firstly, the standard jump, without ctrl or shift down, is launching me about twenty blocks into the air, and when I land the running sounds go off and don't stop until exit out of the level. I'm just going to go back to the older client for the time being. Good work otherwise though

I saw noclip and thaught WOW, OMG, so i downloaded it, and went to one of my fav servers with the new World of Minecraft client, its also new to me because i used to use another client with the last version of minecraft in which i could create blocks and delete blocks without the server or anyone else knowing/seeing... and so it was like noclip...
but then it stopped working with the new update, i got this and noclip doesn't even work on other ppls servers... only singleplayer... GRR

Just gonna post some recommendations and bugs in a main post so people won't have to scroll through some comments and so I can say some things that I would love to see included in the game.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
-An option to revert the window size to the normal size.
-Keep no clip in Single Player only. There is pub servers that control who comes in or not. (and if you guys DO have one, post one that works in multiplayer for your trusted members and not someone like me.)
-2x and 5x speed not to apply for just falling, only forced falling (you know, when you press the key).
-HotKeys for auto-typing a phrase (you guys already have something like this I'm pretty sure, but you should implement it into the client.) (and a hotkey for disabling hacks, screenshots, etc.)
BUGS:
-Super Jumping without using 2x or 5x speed.
-Sometimes landing down will cause the sound of walking on the surface to repeat until you get off of it.
That's basically all I've found. Now I'm no computer genius either, so I don't even know if some of my recommendations could even work in something like this. You guys who do work on the client are awesome at doing these kinds of things, and especially more awesome for releasing it to everyone here. Good job guys, looking forward to the future.

Uhm, if you guys are planning on keeping the super jump of like five - seven blocks in height for the hacks, can you also make like another key that allows you to perform regular one block jumps for you only need to jump that short distance so that we don't have to keep toggling the hacks on and off (because I notice that the high jump only works when hacks are turned on; when hacks are off, you only jump about two blocks in height)?

The server owner has to decide if they want no-clip on their server or not. If you regularly visit a particular server and want to use no-clip on it, get them to add "+hax" or "+noclip" to the server MOTD.

You see an error message like:

To fix
Go back to the instructions, download minecraft.jar as instructed and place it in the correct directory.

This needs 32 bit Java 6. You need to download and install it from: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads
Look for the file labeled: "Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE)", click the download button.
Select "Platform: Windows" from the next download page that appears (note: Do not select 64 bit or Itanium versions, these will not run the wrapper)
Download it, install it.
If after installing the correct version, or if it is installed but cannot be found automatically due to it being in a non-standard location, open the run.bat in a text editor and change the line that reads:

You will need to modify the minecraft-osx.sh file to point to your local java interpreter.
Focus / mouse clicking issues
There can be some weird interactions between the windows managers and the java windows that make java think it has lost focus whenever you click. Very rarely this may not happen on some combinations of linux+distro+x11+wm, but for most linux users, this will be a problem. In this case you may want to take a look at the Don't lose focus hack, which may solve this problem for you.
/dev/input/event ownership problems
If you see an error like:
This means that the current user doesn't have permission to access the direct input devices.
Should fix the problems here.
