Aroma1997Core Mod 1.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.2 required by most of Aroma1997's other mods, so you should install it, if you want to run any other of his mods. This is a library and it mostly contains functions that he use in his other mods. This mod on itself doesn't do that much.
