Okay, today I have found a way to easily create mazes without thinking. If you don't have Gimp 2 on your computer you won't be able to do this. Okay, first decide how far and wide you want your maze to be... create a new image on gimp 2 with the same dimensions. (X and Z)... Once the image is created, then go to Filters>Render>Pattern then select Maze. There will be a section called Maze Size, select under Width (pixels) and set it on 1... leave the pieces section alone. Now set height (pixels) to 1 as well.
Under Algorithm you can set the seed if you want, but I just use random. Now after that is done, go to the bottom of the image and find a place you want to start at. Mark that area YELLOW, when you need to cut a wall in order to proceed in the maze, mark that area RED so you can tell it from the original image. (You can set these things to any color.) When you have a treasure or something if you want mark it green. If you like working for hours you will want to work your way from the bottom to the other side of the image. Make sure to synchronize the image with what you are doing in the game. On my first maze it took 2 hours and I got a 60x60 maze done with several errors from the image. lol.
Make sure you remember where you are on the image otherwise you could make several errors like me. When I finished I realized that place that were supposed to connect didn't actually connect in the end. It is still a very fun way to create mazes... this works both underground and overground. There WILL be several dead ends, and it is hard to find your way out of especially if you put two floors.

Here is an example:
