I have a mclawl server that's been running for a few weeks and used to connect with World of Minecraft client all the time using the server=127.0.0.1&port=25565 URL.  life was good.

ever since the halloween update (i think), I have had a hell of a time trying to connect to my own server.  for a while nothing would work, lately it seems the mc.net web client will let me connect if i try a few times but World of Minecraft client never works, always sends me to single player mode.  I noticed that when I try the old 127.0.0.1 etc URL on minecraft.net, it says "you can't use this URL anymore" at the top of the window.

is there a workaround to connect to a local server with World of Minecraft client?  have i missed something obvious?
