Classic Multiplayer map question

I know its possible to take a single player map and put it on a server for multiplay, but is it possible to do it vice versa? I have a map that was originally created on a server and I'd like to load it into single player.
I've searched for a way to do this, but I haven't found it yet. Any solutions?
