Okay, I have been messing around on minecraft for a while now and have asked myself this question. How to make a railroad creative? I have tried designs like this:
Iron Blocks on the outsides (5 block wide railroad) gold blocks underneath the powered railroads, Redstone Torches in the middle between the two railroads.
Or basically
I G I G I ( I = Iron Block / G = Gold Block)
T R S R T (T = Torch / R = Powered Railroad / S = Redstone Torch)

I want to know what other creative ways could someone build a railroad.
