Do you guys miss Minecraft Beta? Cuz i do...a lot. personaly i tjink that minecraft beta was much better than what minecraft is now :/ it had the fun easy feeling of a simple game created by notch... then jeb came and overrunned it all #BlameVahnandJeb I heard that in 1.6 that you might be able to go back to previos versions of mc with servers old sounds and stuff like that :) but however that might not happen ;(
Face it guys, minecraft is not longer the fun simple game it used to be ;( #BlameVahnandJeb minecraft was amazing until 1.8 beta release. Thats when jeb came into mojangs studios and took over notches place. so now jeb took over minecraft and bacicly ruined it! post your reply / stories from beta :D

I personally started playing at a later date, but the updates just provide different ways to play the game. You can ignore them if you want. Personally, I like the extra things in the game. They open up more possibilities.

The game is eternally changing to be more complex. However, Minecraft.net stores some .jars on their website. This is their earliest (stored) jar.

Go download something like the digiex launcher, it makes it very easy to switch between different versions if you don't know how.

Minecraft was different back then, but not better. Updates make the game interesting. Unless your on the Minecraft programming team be quiet.
