I'm considering wiping my home world on the JAMS server, but I'm very attached to it and I wish to save it before starting over.

I've used the DUMP LEVEL button and there is a new ".dat" file in my World of Minecraft Client folder, but I want to make absolutely sure I can re-load it later.

How do I used dumped level files?  Also, would renaming this number file (to "Nidonemohomeworld1.dat" for example) change the level or make the game client unable to open it again?

I've tried opening my levels in single player mode, but I just load in some obscure corner outside the level, immobilized, and the screen is shaking like my character's point of view is flipping out.  How do you fix this?
