I have a corrupted chunk(s) in a village.  I made a back up about two days before the chunk error occurred, but I don't want to restore the FULL back up because I have done many hours of work since the back up was made.  Is there a way to use the back up to restore just chunk(s) that are corrupted?

Wrong, Niels.

Sacrifice a virgin to the dark lord cthulu and then eat 5 beating hearts of newborn sheep and then log into Minecraft. The chunk error should resolve itself then.

You have to find the couppeted files and replace them with your backup

This isn't a corrupted chunk

This isn't a corrupted chunk error. If it was corrupted the game would overwrite the old chunk with a new one. This is simply a world hole which is quite common. Reloading the world will fix the issue

Quitting the game and

Quitting the game and reloading didn't work...I even restart my pc and that didn't work..Had that worked, I wouldn't have posted here...I just decided to use MCedit to import the additions to the back up...This took some time having to copy around the bad chunk...

It is actually quite an interesting world...It is the first one I have found multiple villages...Three total..I have fixed all the paths and doors and everything in them and built a road connecting them...
