When I first started going on the SMP server I died a bunch... but probably the most n00b thing I ever did was get trapped in a hole someone else had made. I didn't know the commands at that point and I couldn't change anything on their land so I really was trapped. I had to ask the chat how I could get out.
What is the most n00b thing you have ever done on World of Minecraft? Or the most n00b thing that you have seen??

But I do remember that first time when I died in lava havong 17 diamonds (without Fortune 3 pick axe)
and then I was pissed.

When Ii first started here, I started buiding a huge tower .So KI start building and constantly fall off. I had no problems until I was about at level 30 ans strt dying. Maybe died 100 times before someone told me about holding the shift key.

I accidentally spawned 30,000,000 more blocks than I intended to and crashed the server.

I purposely spawn that many. Of tnt. Then blow them up. Which is why one of our test servers never recovered.

So I was new on World of Minecraft: Realms, I was just a little visitor, I was trying to figure out how to get to my realm. So a person who's been there a few months helped me by saying "Just type /home."
Well when I started playing Minecraft, I didn't know anything about the commands or how to use them, so I thought the "/" was just a typo. And I was in the chat realm, so whatever I typed showed up in global chat. I started typing "home" into the box, so the entire chat looked like this:

I'd say the noobiest thing I ever did on World of Minecraft was build my house in MotherRussia, (a town from last map that was built completely over water) And try deep-sea diving underneath the town with my precious handful of diamonds. And died. And tried to get my stuff back. And for some reason brought with my other handful of valuables. And died again.

When I first started learning the backend for the servers... I think I crashed them 30 times in 3 days?

... i was on a creative, nice server... the ops gave me WE-commands because they were nice guys. Then I accidentally filled a great area with floodable lava (several blocks high). Lava flooded, server crashed, admin needed nrly 2 hrs to repair the map and get the server back to work... that was rly shame

several people all started greeting me at once, like, "Hey Erik!" "Welcome Erik!" and I had a dumb moment where I thought to myself, "Who ARE these people and how do they already know me?!"

I spent a good two hours with Vodkaflakes the first day on World of Minecraft figuring out how to claim. Also, when I first started minecraft, I played in peaceful. I thought the monsters would actually figure out ways to get into my house and steal my stuff and kill me.. I spent days designing traps that I could now do in five minutes only to find out that monsters are stupid......

another time when i was a staffer, i killed every animal withen like 8k blocks. spent a week spawning animals from eggs for people whos herds i killed. oopsie.

More than once as a staff member, I've killed every mob on the whole map. I've then spent the next few weeks convincing the other staff members that Hallyn did it. Trust me guys, I've got plenty of these stories.

One time, I spawned like 50 cows at the location of a random user. Watching their reaction was hilarious, until like a month later I was in the end and I found cows then realised who put them there.

This one time...
My first time in SMP actually, I was wondering around looking at all the amazing builds & I found the public mine. Went all the way to the flat floor room at the bottom then got stuck underneath that were somone had cleared it out. No tools & not sure if I was allowed to mine down there plus not knowing the commands to get back to spawn, I ended up wandering around for a really long time & almost starved to death before I found a way out. Then a skeleton killed me when I got back to the surface :\

This other time i was vanished watching a couple of peopleat a zombie grinder. it was an open style so i was sitting there and started every few spawns would spawn in a zombie pigman. I can't remember who they were but they started freaking out thinking they had found a glitched spawner. after five minutes i threw out a chicken. then a few minutes later, a pig. they really started freaking out then. priceless. I sure miss doing things like that.

I remember on a server I op'd on, I got asked to spawn 500 cows into someones murder farm to test it, Instead of 500, I spawned 5000. At the time I didn't know how to kill them all of with a command, so i tryed to get the other staff on skype to get on, as I was the only Australian OP, they were all asleep. Tryed killing them by hand but because of the small space our FPS was at 5.

Once I spawn all of Creepers and using my Enchanted Sword to kill all Creepers then Suddenly I built the Tower and put Creepers in it but Creepers kept exploding in my Tower I kept doing it again then they did the same. It was awful.

I remembered today that when I was new World of Minecraft: Realms, I was seriously considering trying to get a hold of a staff member and asking them to add more blocks to the server. (Because I was so used to Alpha/Beta, I had no clue classic existed!)

One time on World of Minecraft Realms I was really new and so people kept asking me questions and i didnt know how to chat yet. So I just sat there trying to get every1 to realize I was nodding and shaking my head xD I was SOOO embarrased!

Back in the beta SMP server, I spent about 300 dollars in game (Worth about 7 1/2 diamonds as I recall) on a Titan mine from someone, because I thought that it would give me the Titan powers. I was very dissapointed and was not refunded. P.S. Titan was $50.

My first time playing minecraft like ever back in 2008, and keep in mind i was 10 back then, I was told to make a house quickly before nightfall and shortly after i found a pond and began digging in the beach and ensuring i was 5 blocks below from where i started so (i thought) i could be safe. BuuUUuuT, surprise, surprise! On my way back up i try to get water in my home for god knows what reason and i break a block right next to water making my spiral staircase into a waterslide. Then im thinking something like: "Sweet! A waterslide! This is going to be awesome!" Then on my way back down it was pleasant BUT THEN on the way back OOP, it was slow as a snail on sleeping pills, and THeeeEeN i decided to keep it! For the sole reason that it was a waterslide. And i tried eating the green dye cuz i thoughtz it waz fud :P

I originally started playing Minecraft as the Pocket Edition on my phone, so I had gotten used to playing in a limited world. When I finally started playing on my PC, I built up a nice base close to spawn and next to a large network of caves/underground ravines bordered on a plains biome, extreme hills, and taiga biomes... So I didn't really need to go anywhere initially because it was all there for me.
My first n00b mistake was that I built my home in a cliff.. so at night monsters would spawn on the cliff above and drop down on my gated patio outside my door, or worst case on my head. I finally got wise and built a roof over my deck...
My next n00b moment was to take all my valuble weapons and tools with me, as well as a small stack of diamonds and all my iron I had mined.. and go on a mission in the world to explore it... Well I hadn't counted on how large the world was, it wasn't limited like pocket edition, so I got lost, and I didn't have the coordinates figured out at the time.. So I was really lost. I also didn't get the food system at that time, so I ended up starving to death on my mission.. which I did go back to spawn and was able to get back to my home, but I lost all of my items that I had taken with me with no hope of getting them back as I had no clue where they had been dropped at..
My first n00b moment on a server was not knowing how to chat. I had a mod of that server come and greet me, but I didn't know how to respond, I tried clicking on the chat window, pressing c... finally I pressed T for talk and got it, but the mod had finally gotten irritated with me and left because they thought I was rude and ignoring them.. and they were a bit rude about it so I left the server and avoided joining servers for a bit (this was not World of Minecraft)
As far as the World of Minecraft server, it probably that I keep accidentally letting the monsters into my home at night and they kill me, or not being aware of my surroundings and thus getting blown up by creepers approaching from behind. I just feel like I die a alot..

I didn't think it was just a plain shovel I thought it was some special kind of enchanted magical shovel that you could only make with like commands that I didn't know, so I kept it in my special chest with my diamonds and stuff like that...
