I have a map that has a town on it but around the town its all flat. There are no ore anywhere on the map and the town is custom made. Is it possible to use World Edit to generate blocks or chunks that also have ore in them? Or any way to generate blocks on a flat map so it's not flat any more but a regular map? I tried to Copy and Save the Schematic then Load the Schematic on a new map and tehn Paste it but Minecraft freezes. The town is pretty big which is why it freezes.
