We've all had that moment where we've thought "I'm so pro, I bet I can play hardcore mode easily." Then, we end up in some cave with half a heart. So I wanted to know what your hardcore mode stories were.

Was playing with my brother in hardcore when we were looking over a beautiful ravine, when suddenly a creeper explodes behind us and throws my brother down into the ravine. ^^

My story

I was going to do my first mining adventure ever on hardcore mode, but then a zombie attacked me and left me with half a heart as I beat it to death with a pickaxe. (Too startled ti actually equip my sword.)
