I have been running a Mac ever since I got Mincraft, and it has worked well up to this point. Whenever I log in, I can never connect to minecraft.net. Sadly, that isn't the main problem. I love the new layout and I can click on all of the buttons (multiplayer, options, etc.) except single player. Whenever I click single player, the screen freeze, then within 10 seconds, the screen close. The error message appears for less than half a second, and is impossible for me to read. I have deleted Minecraft and reinstalled it many times with no luck. Any suggestions?
