it was working fine yesterday with a friend (Yes only one person), not much lag. Today (Friday) though, my friend is lagging really bad. Does this have something to do with the Hamachi or Minecraft?? I'm basically using Hamachi so it's like a LAN, so my guess is Hamachi's the problem??

I also want to know how Hamachi works. Can Hamachi itself (or maybe some server somewhere) affect the lag? I have a fairly good router and speed (20mb dl, 1mb ul), and I just checked them again before running the server. Unless everyone on a Friday is using Hamachi and it's sort of making it lag??? I have no idea.

P.S. And I've tried hosting a server through the internet, with the correct port forwarding and everything and even removing the firewall and still a no go. I'm guessing if the router is password protected, I can't host any server. Any ideas on how to make this work as well??
