It would be SOOO great if you could actually do something with this recent update.

I mean seriously. Its unusable without resorting to internet connection shenanigans.

Cant you turn off the recent update while you work on the problem so that it stops updating to the broken update? (that is, under the wishful assumption that anything is actually being done atm...)

or replace the downloaded update with the previous one so that the client will WORK normally?
