Before we get started, the reason why I'm putting this in "Off-Topic" and not "Introduce yourself" is because I've been on this account for three years and have occasionally made posts. So if that doesn't give you any reference that I'm not new, I don't know what will.

My name is Matt McMahon, my username is warthogkill1 on Minecraft. What I want to say today is the following. I love this server, and have loved it for years. Here is my story.

First, a little background within a giant background (background-ception?). I came to this site when Minecraft classic was hip and trendy, and a brand new World of Minecraft server came up called "World of Minecraft:Realms". Being that a user who will go nameless basically banned me for having Asperger's Syndrome, I needed a new server to play on. I made the best choice choosing this one. I came on with warm welcomes, cool art, and a brand new place just for me. I spent time there, I fought there, I laughed there, and I made plenty of friends. Enough about that, let's divulge a bit more into the SMP server

In 20XX, World of Minecraft decided they wanted to open up an SMP server. I say 20XX because my memory is crap and I want someone to correct me so I don't look like a moron. I digress. SMP servers were new to me. Being that I had bought an Alpha account a few days before Beta came out, I decided again to try something new. Oh boy was it fun! Things were great, even more friends were made, and I even made a cake house for a very rad moderator (you know who you are). But here's the part where things kind of devolved.

I have three brothers, and two of them love Minecraft. For the sake of their age and status, their usernames will remain private. They look up to me, and being that I was on a server in Minecraft, they of course wanted to join me in my endeavors. Since I'm their cool brother, I said yes. This was not a mistake, but the next decision is one. When they decided to play, the server had reset because of a newly released patch. Sorry for not remembering again, but since it brings back bad memories it should be let go. Moving on, the server was brand spankin' new and we decided to make a house together. This caused problems to say the least.

To save time I will list off some things that happened. We started arguing over who built what. We didn't know how to claim and we built our house right next to the spawn. We started inviting people into the house and called it a hotel. One person we invited stole stuff and built his own place. A pandemic happened and our stuff was constantly getting reset. My brothers didn't comprehend why and anger/arguement ensued. The savior of the server Lunick (with the help of all the moderators who were awake at the time) hastily coded and fixed the server to its former yet disheveled self. We then decided that once the 1.7 update came out and the server was reset that we would build our own seperate houses. Now you are pretty much caught up to today.

This conclusion will be very brief. I love almost everyone on the server and tolerate those who I don't love. The creativity, the genuine thought and care put into the rules and regulations, the amazingly cool people I've met, they're all there. This place is the bomb and has the best server in the world.
