How to Generate MD5 Hash/Salt for DirectConnect URL's

Ok, so I've seen some posts on how to generate the URL by recompiling MCLawl, but what if you aren't running MCLawl? I'd like to connect to an SMP server using the World of Minecraft Client, or at least be able to bookmark it, but I don't have the play.jsp URL either for the server.
And since I'm not an admin.... ;_; I can't go in and take a look at it by hand. So if I could figure out how to get that hash code, I could tell the admin on Teamspeak how to do it so we could all benefit from it :)
