Hi guys, it's flabbadoodle. I will be starting a new company called item hunters. What item hunters does, is you tell us what item you want, and we hunt around World of Minecraft for the item or the recources needed to make the item. I got this idea when I saw almost everyone asking to buy a saddle (Yes, we will try hard to find saddles). Here is the base of it:
What we do --
Item hunters find the item or the recources needed to make the item, then give the item to you. Don't take this as free, because we will be charging, but I assure you we will sell it to you for a reasonable price. Negotiating is allowed. Some items we will not be able to obtain in any way. Items like this will be command blocks, sponge, and spawn eggs. Some items we may try very hard to get, and we might have to cancel the request (You can ask for anything and we will try very hard to get it). You can't request more than 1 item at once unless it is the same item. For example, you can't request a bow and a diamond sword, but you can request a stack of cobblestone. If you would like an enchanted item, we will only give you the item and you will have to enchant it yourself. Some items might take longer to get to you than other items, because of how hard it is to get it or if we have a lot of requests pending.
Why we are better than other shops--
Some people in other shops are trolls. They sell you a bow with 1 durability left for normal price (It could happen). These items are fresh out from the oven. Other shops don't have what you want in stock, but we will almost always have it in stock because of the fact that we hunt for the items.
Return Policy --
If you feel like you don't want the item anymore, you can return it, but the item must be in full shape. If the item is in full shape and you return it, we will give you a full refund. If you don't want the item once we are about to give it to you, you won't have to pay and we will save the item for further use.

Why are bottles o enchanting off limits? You can get those in survival mode, unlike those other things.

Bottles of enchanting are obtainable by trading with the priests in villages. But I would love to help you. It sounds like fun!

You can get Bottles o' enchanting from villagers, you can also get chiseled stone brick, I have some to. you find chiseled stone brick at jungle temples where you enter the password with levers on the lower level. they only come by the three's makeing them harder to get. So maybe you can get some, but it would be sold for a high price.

Information for Employees:
Adjoining the HQ is the employee item drop-off building. Every employee registered at the moment has a chest which only they and flabbadoodle can open. Items that are successfully found by you should be put in your chest. Then, you should send flabbadoodle a mail message.
Hopefully this will work as smoothly as hoped.

Unless it has recently changed, there are no chistled stone bricks in strongholds. Only the 3 in each jungle temple.
Also, bottles of enchanting are gonna be damned expensive if you want any large amount of them.

I warped to the Item Hunters Shop, and there was no one of service there (lol, don't worry I know you guys are busy). But I thought it would be a good idea if you could some how have a list that people could post that say what item(s) he/she is looking for.

flabbadoodle had the employee room claimed so no one could access their chests. I subdivided the chest room to public contianer trust. So now all us employees can acces our drop off chest, and no one else. If there is still problems, let me know her (should be here. oopsie) or in game.

Item hunters is looking for a manager! Apply by posting a comment! A manager's privliges are: front deskman, assigning requests, selling items, and a corporate office! You MUST write down who requested what, and who you assigned it to. If you do not, you will be fired. A manager has to be VERY responsible, and I will test someone who applied and i think might be a good manager. By test I mean a short about 5 question test, for responsibility.

If they find a rare item, they get 60%. anyway, how would staff make money if the hunters got 99%? If people really care about their payment and they demand a raise, then ill think about it

Jak, Me and flab already slashed our pays. Now we each get 25%, and if it's super rare we each get 20%. I would also like to remind you that we have to log the orders and I have an entire system worked out for tracking orders that flabbadoodle and I have to monitor.

jak, what do u even care? u don't work for itemhunters anymore. And if we pay the hunters to much money, me and liquid wouldn't get money. Also, we have our own responsibilities. We have to take care of the business, answer every question somebody has, make prices, and log items.

From the point of view of someone who did get a few things for you, it would be much easier for people to just have a requests board in a busy town, and anyone can get the requested item and sort it out themselves with the buyer, means the hunter gets paid properly, and the system works faster.
Cut out that middleman.

Jak, without us the 'middleman' there would be no order. No way to tell if there were multiple people getting an item, if the item even had somebody searching for it, the price, if it was delivered yet, etc.
Now if you wouldn't mind, I would prefer not to have the itemhunters post locked for spam. Thank you.

Okay, back to the business, jak, you're idea wouldn't work because of what liquid said. There would be no itemhunters. Random people would get payed to do something. It's better as a business than an everybody-thing.

Once you decide to hunt something, you take the item off the board, then take it to the person when you get it and agree a price with them, if you can't agree on a price, they don't get the item.
And nothing that I am doing could be described as spam, unless the rules now forbid commenting multiple times on the same topic.

Could you please stop criticizing our system and giving our thread a higher chance to be locked? We have a system. It is to make collecting items easier if they are super rare ones that nobody would usually give away, and it's a store at the same time.

Wow, for someone who left the community and the forums, jak sure does have a lot to say on the forums about the community. It's also odd that he doesn't understand the concept of the item hunters when that's really how most businesses work in real life. The owners give people jobs doing all the work, and allow customers to have a main contact, and make money from the workforce who is going out and doing the work. Just like in a real business, if something went wrong, it would be the owners who would be responsible and have to figure out how to fix it. Not a hard concept to understand considering it's how business works in the real world.

I have stated many times that I am not leaving until I manage to speak to H4X, you want me gone, make him appear with your magic.
And in real life, the owner does actually do some work, not just sit there and watch other people working. Amazingly enough, if people found out that their owner doesn't actually do anything, but still takes half of the money, they would very quickly stop working for this person and find someone who pays them a fair share.

jak, like i said before, my workers are happy. and yesterday i hired 2. If 4 workers demanded a raise, then i would give them a raise. and jak, me and liquid do something. We have to make the prices, make a log of the requests, and check the forums and go on a lot to see if there is anything in need of fixing.
Why do you care? You don't work for item hunters. Just because me and liquid don't do the hunting, we still have a job of our own -- which is taking care of the whole business.
So jak, please stop pointing out what's wrong about item hunters, and let us do the work.

We appoligize for the inconvience to dubsteprod and zachary2513. I had to cancel dubsteprod's order because all the active hunters have jobs and the inactive ones never come on anymore. Zachary2513 is STILL waiting (about the 3-4 week) for his item, and it is the same problem that dubsteprod had.

We are currently looking for a partner -- and what i mean by this is that someone will make an Animal Hunters (item hunters except you hunt for animals) business. If it is successful, we will team with it. Anybody who works at itemhunters is also welcome to make an animal hunters. workers at item hunters won't hunt for animals, it is just a business partner. You don't need to apply or anything, just tell me when you finish the business and i will talk with you, etc.
