So, I am pretty new on this site and I have minecraft and have played it for awhile now on my more modern windows hp which can support it and everything to go along with that. Although while, switching over to my Dell with windows I don't know much about it, but its decently old and since downloading is not supported i am trying to play in broswer but upon loading it will start and then say "java applet failed". I am not sure if i could somehow download it but when i do it says it requires a java runtime environment 1.5.0 now if I download that will i be able to launch it and where can i find it i tried to download java runtime like 6 and it did not work? Also, I am sorry if there is another thread similiar to this one i looked for a while and did not find one. Any help is appreciated thank you very much.
