Hey I am having troubles with the new World of Minecraft client that is out, 1.6.1b I think, when I double click on the program it just makes an error sound and pops up a message that says "Could not create the Java virtual machine." I had this problem with the only client as well, but was able to fix it by editing the run.bat file and changing something from xmx800 to xmx512 (Or something like that, I don't understand what that did to it or anything, its just a solution I read on the support forums)
Anyone have a solution for this error for the new version of World of Minecraft? And yes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Java, and yes, I have deleted and redownloaded World of Minecraft, and yes, I have done all the obvious things that everyone tells people to do even though the person has most likely already tried it.
