You guys do know there is other servers besides smp? Most our World of Minecraft players play on smp. Why not pvp, hub, or cmp? I know threre is a few who play on cmp, but there's only 3-5 players ever on pvp, and almost never at the same time. I just want more people on servers besides smp. I play on pvp regulary, and there's not a lot of people who play there. Think about it though, a year ago there was like 20 people on pvp at ALL times. I just wish it was still like that. That's all I have to say. Thanks.

Why should i (or another normal MC user) ever go to PvP, with bad experience in fighting, bad armor, bad weapons. To simple lose all my crap stuff after minutes against an experienced fighter who slaughters me?
Can't understand, why people want use a building-game as a fighting game (as i didn't understand why they do 2D-Pixelart in a 3D-game). The concept of PvP on MC is for me a bit incomprehensible.

I totally agree with bronze. Im lazy, and i am not a builder, so SMP isn't that fun for me. Just wish more people on mob arena, cmp, and pvp like bronze.

I understand that people find it more fun to play on smp. I get that. But the pvp population, it's gone down so much the past few months. When CMP was introduced, we had some players playing on it, and we still have a few. But the new server HUB still has no people on it. That's all I'm saying. Feel free to state your opinion. IMO, I agree with Sam. I get Levian's pov, and Eva's and Jak's, but this is just a topic to talk about it. MGsly, that's not exactly the problem.. And Boller, I used to be absoloutley horrible. You eventually get good.

Jak, what do you mean? Btw I most likely won't play on smp as much now. I've lost 5 full diamond suits on there. it's just getting a bit boring. All I ask of this topic is to please advertise the pvp server more. Too many people play on smp. That is the topic of the discussion, and I ask that the staff will listen to me. You don't have to, it's just my wish. Thanks.

I think a survival games server would be cool, not hat rescource intensive if you just do one game at a time.

UHC stands for ultra-hardcore. It is a version of minecraft where you don't naturally recover health, you can only get health from eating golden apples, or using healing potions.

Because of this UHC, golden apples are going to become 9 times harder to make and only be half as effective, which I shall never forgive Dinnerbone for. >:(

I would straight up quit if pvp was brought to the smp server. Many servers out now are all pvp and it is driving me absolutely nuts it drove me to come back to this server as i couldnt find an SMP only server. I ran a server for a while with some other people the owner put PvP on the SMP Server and when people came in expecting a pvp server they thought they could grief as well which brings a bad crowd if you dont allow it. I dont like pvp much to begin with the only reason i really came to minecraft was to build to begin with, it wasnt a pvp game at the start. World of Minecraft is well known as a creative type of server because of World of Minecraft Realms, and i think we should keep it that way because thats what SMP is mostly about, that and adventuring.

Woah, so much speculation.
So some of you know pvp is my baby, it's where I actually play and It's pretty sad to see it go.
Unfortunately as snow said we're just not getting enough people on there to justify keeping it running.
We're going to keep it going for a little while so everyone can take the opportunity to get one last epic battle out of it. (If you're interested jump on this weekend).
Otherwise, I'm happy to let you know that our current intention is to implement a hunger games type server thing.
I don't have any of the specifics on it but if you're excited about that or want to comment or suggest something hunger games ish then post here.

People could turn pvp on or off for themselves. So if you have it off, you can't hurt people, and they can't hurt you, when it is on, you can fight.

Mgsly the only reason you can't find people is because hardly anyone play on pvp :P I <3 pvp and snow for once i am not on your side sorry :P
