I've been looking on the net for about 3 hours to find a way to simply create a local server. I only want to play with my brother, so I don't need a public one to play on the internet.

I know it should be working only with my local IP or something like that but when I download the minecraft server creating stuff on the official website, I can't open it anymore. I was able to when I was trying to create a internet server. I deleted Java and this program few times because it was not working, installing them after.

When I open the link said I don't have what it need to open it... Weird...

By the way, if there's a little tutorial for local server, please give me the link. Otherwise, if someone could resume it to me, it would be nice. Consider I'm not that good with computer stuff but I'm not a noob too.
