Hello everyone!
I (Superstacker32) and Dandres156 have been working on a brand new town called Evergreen.
We are known for making large builds, such as cities, towns, universities, custom houses, etc. on various servers.
So, we decided to create a "small community" on the server.
Well whats different than other towns?
Our town is more than just a town. Most towns have plots with houses right next to eachother, which can feel quite cramped sometimes. Evergreen is in the Extreme Hills biomes so it is very secluded. On either sides is a Snow and Jungle biome aswell, however we have completeley re-done the landscaping by taking down 3 mountains by hand, so the town feels more open and allowing more space for our townspeople.
Each pre-built house is around the $1250-$3500 range. Each plot is $3500.
We include small stores to buy the essentials-clothing, food & tools.
After reviewing your comments, we made a few changes:-Added a Freebuild Area
-No more Dress Code
-No more Application
-Added Enchanting House
-Added Animal Pens (Used for Breeding, Food, etc.)
-Added a Warp

i would say not being able to add on would be a turn down for part of us )(like me) cause in the end we always need more room. also you never said anything about mining or any of that.

Yeah this sort of town just doesn't fly on World of Minecraft smp...Freedom is the key mate...

If they removed almost all the rules they have they might get flooded but with those rules i doubt anyone will join it.

It wouldnt be to bad with the dress code but there wont be much freedom then.

Yes I can see it now, how that town hall meetings will become a regular event over David and Jennifer way of dress. Street protest over housing limitation and a on going rioting over freedom and the call for a step down of .... No thanks, we don't want your ways and freedom in our lives.
The World of Minecraft SMP have a very good balance of rules and freedom. It is by no means perfect but sure so much better than what on offer at many others.
If your town but can abide by World of Minecraft SMP rules and freedom then I'm sure it'll be a Pleasantville in Thriving Valley.
