Hey guys, My name is Lewis, and I have been running Lucky13Aus for over 8 months now, and a lot has changed! Therefore I am updating all my advertisements, so if you have stumbled across this one, it is the latest one out! ( If you are reading this at christmas ;D )

Basically, Lucky13Aus is an Australian run, Australian based server, hosted on a professional box, located in brisbane. We run 5GB RAM, as well as many plugins, both to help the server, and for player enjoyment, and we experience no lag, worldwide! We have players online from England, and even Ireland boasting how lag free the server is. The community is mainly Australian though, so if your timezone is far off Australia's, you are going to miss the peak of players. We usually get about 15-20 players online all day, but we have 40 slots available, so there is still plenty of room, and we are always wanting new players!

Some players come online and aren't sure of the purpose that our server poses, but after they ask myself, a lengthy explanation secures there devotion to the server, players simply love the features we have to offer, and once they understand this, they jump right on board and help the server grow!
For those of you who dont want a lengthy discussion with myself in-game, I will just ask you to read the following:

Lucky13Aus does not allow griefing/hacking/exploiting the game.

Lucky13Aus does on the other hand allow stealing from houses and chests, depending on which block. We have a notice board at spawn to show players what blocks can be stolen from players houses, and what cant.

Lucky13Aus uses the plugin 'iconomy' to simulate a real scale economy, in game! We have just finished the new server shop, which sells/buys ores and blocks off players for money, which will be referred to as 'Lks' meaning 'Luckies' in game. Our own server currency.

Now, players sometimes ask what they can then do with this money. Its simple! Firstly, a very important goal that all new players have, is to earn enough money so they can buy a town plot, meaning a place, which is fully protected, just outside the main spawn building. This is a great place to live, where something is always happening!
The second thing you can use 'Luckies' for, is to simply buy building materials/tools/armour/food from the server shop. Like in a 'real life' economy.

We currently have an arena plugin called 'MobArena' which is open a few times a day, which draws a huge crowd, as the promise of rewards and experience orbs is in surplus at those points in the day.

We are also investing time in creating a spleef arena for players who want to take a break from 'normal' minecraft experiences.
