Hey dudes,
MC classic not working anymore???? i downloaded World of Minecraft and i tried to connect to a server. I know the server is up because i can see people on it but whenever i try to connect it says "failed to connect. Its probably down"
ANY HELP???
does it have to do with java because i have Java SRE 7 updatet 40

The World of Minecraft client has been updated a while back and doesn't need java 6. works fine on java 7
Does this happen for every server you try and join ?

I'm getting the same problem. I tried on Java 7 JRE, I tried on Java 6 JRE, nothing works. People have to be able to get on, else everyone would be complaining. But every single server gives me "Failed to connect to the server. It's probably down!" The problem is, if I click while the "Connecting..." screen appears, then hit escape, it shows me the first-person view of the immediate area, and I can move it around, then it goes to the "Failed" screen. What exactly is going on?

as far as I know, Classicube.net is like the final outpost for minecraft classic right now. I switched to ChargedMiners for awhile but it eventually stopped working too. It's sad really...

when i join any server or try to all it does is say the server is down and also in singleplayer i get a blank screen

that is one part cause World of Minecraft Client needs Java 6 but also its that Mojang is starting to faze out classic
