I hit minecraft.exe but nothing happens. No error, no delay, no indication that anything is wrong. It just doesn't open at all, not even the start screen.
I monitor the task manager to see if it's showing up at all. After spam trying it, I see minecraft.exe pop up on it for a sec every once in a while but it immediately disappears. Also, every once in a while javaw.exe shows up and right away disappears (but they never show up both at the same time).

I tried deleting the minecraft folder in C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data but nothing happens.
I also tried reinstalling java several times thinking it's gotta be related but that has not helped either.
I have hopped onto my laptop (that one is a mac) and I have no trouble logging in from that computer so it isn't my account.
I don't know what's going on on my PC. Haven't been able to play in weeks cause of this. Help?
