LeChosenOne of the Au70 Minecraft Classic community created a "twitition", which is basically a petition hosted by Twitter.
We need as many signatures as we can get to prove that the MineCraft Classic community cares. Many communities will be destroyed by the removal of this link because without the link, there will be no new guests to play on servers. This will cause all Classic Servers to shrink until they completely fall.

well the reason behind this is that now to get a Minecraft account, you must Purchase it first. also its using an old login system so they are slowley removing it to make way for the new minecraft system. so expect it to be gone soon

While it is sad to see Minecraft classic go, it is already living on bought time from when mojang tried to remove it last year. So while your efforts are valiant, I am afraid that it will be no use.

Also, a twitter petition can't exactly have that much worth considering one person can easily make as many twitter accounts as they want and then just sign it with all of them. That being said, I signed it on two different accounts for you.

I mean like, ssrly? DAM! It's gone! I mean like, can't we have it back? maybe new ppl want to try minecraft classic to experience how muti is... And it's fun! You can make houses, building and make new friends. Plus the ppl who are not allowed to download and play MC and want to play MC can go on classic.

if people can login to classic, they can go into smp servers that is now it is now so what is the point?
