Hi! I'm new here so don't flame me!!!

I recently added a texture pack to my minecraft.jar file (a halo pack) and when I open Minecraft it starts to load then never finishes! I even tried in the browser and nothing, But I try it on my brother's computer (in the browser) and it works just fine. I even did a system restore and still nothing.
