Minecraft Error Not downloaded Black Screen

Okay, so after countless times of reinstalling and trying everything, Minecraft will STILL not load.
Here is what happens: I sign in. It says "not Downloaded" So I click play offline and it either is a black screen or updates and freezes after "Done Loading"
It is getting really irritating, and in my .minecraft folder I only have a Bin file, nothing else.
I have no idea what to do. I am getting a new computer for Christmas, so should I wait til then?
I have good video cards (I can play a lot of games) so I am not sure :(
Minecraft worked for like the first two months.
Someone on the minecraft forums already tried helping me. But it didn't do much.
So any ideas? And the World of Minecraft Client doesn't work :/
