Minecraft Not Saving or Loading Levels and no sound

I was playing Minecraft Classic and I couldn't save my world in a file on my computer it asked where I wanted to save it and once I saved it. It wasn't there. I tried to load a level and it wouldn't load, and the sound won't work.
