Have you updated yet? If not, run your Minecraft launcher and press "Update".

Features:

- Now features wolves as a new mob, tame them and keep them as a pet.
- Beds are now spawn points. (i.e. you die, you spawn next to your bed.)
- New Minecraft logo.
- You can now make cookies.
- When on a ladder, you hold SHIFT to grip on the ladder.
- Spiders will no longer trample crops.
- There are infrastructures added to the game for statistics and achievements, although the code has been written up, statistics and the achievements won't appear till the next update.

Why?

1. They were too lazy.
2. They didn't want to delay the update.
3. They "didn't have time."
