This is a odd story, when i first downloaded MC everything worked perfectly fine (except for the occasional lag). So like way back in the early days of alpha, I installed the game on the family computer so it will run faster, So i uninstalled the game on my computer and never played on it. then i decided to install the game back on my computer (FYI its XP home), but for some reason every time i download the game and double click the client, all i hear is a error noise, not even a error message pops up, just the noise! It does the same thing for the minecraft_server.exe file too. I thought i had to update Java but that wasn't it either. But heres the weirdest part, I can play it perfectly fine in browser! I have no idea whats going on and i'd really like to play it in window version and have my own server too, but i can't. So please HELP ME!
