We are being inundated with questions why minecraft.net is down.
Apparently notch forgot to pay for the server before he flew out to Indonesia and so the people at his hosting facility cut the power to the servers and are threatening to delete them.
Notch has said that he will pay for the host when he gets back on Saturday, but till then there's no minecraft.net.
We have a Temporary Access page which will allow you to play the game while minecraft.net is down. This page allows you to play on all of the World of Minecraft servers with the same hacks as the World of Minecraft Client Wrapper had.
Minecraft.net is now back up and everything has returned to normal. Peace on earth, the rapture is back on, zombie threat evaded

Oh noo!!!! The wepsite where we get mine craft is down. Yep well that sucks I was going to buy mine craft so I don't have to use the demo. So maybe the alpha (which is before beta version) Is under server client fix because that might be the answer to it because a forum called face punch was down due to repair so yeah it might be the problem.
Q; When will www.minecraft.net get done repairing or get back to the internet???
A; It might be a while it took weeks for face punch to repair themselfs so wait.
