First of, I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Alex and my Minecraft username is Jamessuperfun. I had been running a Minecraft server- one that was going quite well, actually- with a friend. However, long story short he is no longer able to host the server and I need another host.
I am quite poor and I cann't afford a decent host so I am looking for someone with the ability to put in the (small) funds for the project or host it on thier computers.
If things like port forwarding is an issue I am fairly tech- savvy and can help you out, I can set up the plugins, control the world files and pretty much all the hard work as long as you (the host) can make sure the server is up and working. And of course, you do all the fun stuff that comes with being an owner of a server (and trust me, there's a lot of it).
I already have plenty of ideas for the server (as I say, the last configuration worked well but there are a few things I look forward to changing) and I know exactly what plugins, names and maps we need. I am an acceptable builder- the last spawn had tons of compliments from new users and I built most of it. I can make some nice redstone creations and I absolutely love doing so.
I can prepare a website for the server, along with an IP redirect for a nice IP (like coldspark.com) for users to remember and connect to.
I have a small but dedicated set of players ready to join- when the last server went dark I got nothing but spam from them asking whether it would be up again soon and I replied that I am looking for a new host- and some of them offered but didn't meet a simple criteria, sadly.
I know the plugins to get (such as HawkEye for anti- greif, Statues for spawn shops, ChestShop for player shops, ItemDisplay for spawn shops, Essentials because it is well, essential, Permissions for perms, WorldEdit to speed up big building...) and time to invest in configuring them.
I also have a friend who is able to create new plugins if one we need doesn't exist.
So basically I am expirienced, have pretty much all the stuff you need for a great server excluding a host. If you are willing to provide that part, I am willing to do all the hard work while you sit back and have fun.
