Hey People! How is everyone??
I hope you are all having a nice day!
So the reason I am posting this topic is because, as we all know, Minecraft, Gaming and Youtube has blown up over the last few years. However people still seem to think that gaming is a waste of time and we should be doing other things because, we are never going to be able to make anything out of it. Well I have been thinking about this a lot recently, and have come up with the solution that, people should not tell others that there dreams or ambitions are stupid. I mean who doesn't want to make a living out of playing video games and doing something that they really enjoy! People should just be supportive or if they have nothing nice to say about your dream, then don't say anything at all!
I am a 21 year old guy, who works full time in a supermarket, and honestly, it is so horrible because i never wanted to be stuck in a dead end job. Every now and then I actually get the feeling of just quitting, but I know i cant because I need the money to support myself and my girlfriend!
Recently I went to I52 (Insomnia Gaming Festival) and it really gave me a new prospective on how people are starting to see gaming. In fact, I now believe that youtube isnt all about making the money or getting famous, its about doing something that you enjoy!
Its a great escape from the real world when you are away from school, work or any problems that you might be facing.
This is why I have decided to give youtube a shot. I believe that youtube is a way of bringing people together and having fun while doing it!
I dream of a world that gaming is not teased or laughed at for being nerdy, but actually an interesting conversation!
So yeah, I am doing youtube.
My dream has always been to do youtube.
