The Nexus Opens (in Beta)
Have you ever wanted your own world? Have you ever wanted to boss staff members or users around? Yeah, well too bad. Except for the part where you get your own world!
Thanks to the efforts of MrSnowGlobe and Spudsrus, World of Minecraft: Realms is making a revival- erm, rising from the ashes. You know how when a phoenix dies it does that cool thing where it rises from its own ashes and is reborn. Yeah, that's Nexus.
What you get for the low, low price of walking all the way to the Nexus portal in Lobby: (we know it's hard, but it's worth it. Trust me.)
Features:
- Your own World.
- The ability to control your own world. Allow people to build in your Nexus World.
- The ability to shape your world. Ever wanted to use WorldEdit in World of Minecraft? Well, now you can. Just don't put in 200k dirt blocks at a time.ᴵ'ᵐ ᶫᵒᵒᵏᶦᶰᵍ ᵃᵗ ʸᵒᵘ ᵀᵉʳʳᵃ
- Your own chat for your own world. Each world will have its own chatroom.
- The ability to be a god. Well, sorta. You get to control time and place blocks at will. God-like, I think?
Forget about Realms, the Nexus is opening. Are you ready?

I found the portal, but it isn't active! Why u do dis?

To turn the portal on, one must have a potato and a carrot equipped. To obtain a potato plus carrot, head to the "Supah Secret Room" found somewhere in the Lobby. There will be a button which will grant you both a potato and carrot. Second, the potato must be placed onto a pressure plate. After that, you only have 10 seconds to sprint towards the lever and pull it. It is unknown where the lever is. After that, you will be teleported to a huge maze. Solving this maze will teleport you to a button. By pressing the button the portal will open and you will gain access to the Nexus.
The carrot will grant you Staff powers inside the Nexus, but be aware, that the carrot will spoil at a time. Quickly eat it in the Nexus to gain the powers!
...Now! Off you go! To your mighty quest of epicness found in the Nexus!

UPDATE!: I found the new lobby with the nexus portal its red and orange to access it go to the ship behind the blocker then go to the ship controls with the command blocks flip the middle switch to get to the new spawn oh and the portal is innactive so dont even try

Your ignorance astounds me. I've been to the portal with MrSnowGlobe, and he said it won't be activated for a while. I'm not supposed to release details/screenshots, and i'm not but please, don't speak unless you know.

It'll be like playing offline except that we can invite other players in.

Isn't that really just like all multiplayer? SMP is just like playing singleplayer offline, except you can play with and talk to other people, and we have the extra plugins for you to use.. Just like here, where we'll have WorldEdit, and posssibly a couple other useful plugins.

Sam and I had fun with you :D We THOUGHT about making you chase villagers/zombies to make a bit more of a connection but nahh. I think you're still chasing them to be honest :P
