Simply, I'm trying to figure out a way to run classic on my computer while not connected to the internet and possibly host it on my desktop and going through my old router, play it on my laptop.

Reasoning behind not wanting it online is just that I have crap internet and it would literally be impossible to do.

Only big deal breaker is I want to save my maps to continue later, or else I'd just use the World of Minecraft client.

Hope someone out there understands what I'm trying to mean and has some kinda ideas.
