(Hope this is in the right place)
Playing for the first time in about a month tonight and the first thing I noticed was both my front gate & front door were open. Annoying but not the first time it's happened. (Warning signs don't seem to help)
After checking if anything was missing I checked on my animals. Discovered that the gate on my sheep pen was open and that I am missing my black sheep. Thankfully the other 3 (Light grey, dark grey & white) are stuck in a corner.
What I want to know is, is there any way to get my sheep back pretty please? Also, if I could perhaps find out if he was taken/killed or walked away as a result of the gates being open, that would be great.

P.S. As a sidenote about the doors, the house opposite mine has it's doors open too. They are never open.

Looks like someone checking out your build didn't think and accidentally left the gate open, There's no record of anyone luring the sheep out so they must have eventually wandered out. (The gate has been open for about 9 days as far as I can tell)
Best way to stop this is to put in a metal / piston door since they can't be opened by people who are untrusted in your claim.
I'll change things so fence gates require accesstrust or higher to open. Should make things a bit easier for everyone.
