Pixel Format Not Accelerated?

Hi, so I have been trying to get the game client to work for my Windows Xp Professional computer. I can play both single and multiplayer classic from the minecraft website, but not the game client. From the minecraft website, without the client, everything is fine, but the client will not work at all.
It always says the 'org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated' message when I try to connect to any server. I know that message means to update my drivers from reading other threads about this, but my system is no longer supported by Intel. They don't offer my driver anymore, so I can't update my drivers.
I don't know why the drivers work for the regular game, but not the game client.
Help? :\
