Here is a new server! Its a RP server!
Long ago there was two armies locked in a great battle, The Assassins, a group divided from the peaceful yet strong, Order. The Order's high Order, (I know right :P) King PaxGen
was assassinated by order of the Assassin's King Warsaw (:P) and sparked a war with over 100,000 deaths, after the war YOU join! You can help rebuild or help ME destroy the rest of the Order
The two factions are The Assassins and The Order
the professions you can choose from: Bartender (yeah, I'm making pubs), Blacksmith, Tax Collector, Gaurd/Assassin, and Merchant
Bartender- sells food items and rents out rooms. The King might give you wares
Blacksmith- sells weapons, tools, and armor. the King might give you wares
Tax Collector- on the king's command, you will go from home to home
collecting from each person the amount the King has asked you to. The
King will also give you your wages
Gaurd- defend your kingdom from the creatures that appear in the
night. When a siege is ordered, this is the only profession REQUIRED to
take up arms
Merchant- sells anything you choose, but the King will not give you your wares

we also have multiworld, and a new adventure map every month!
I'm gonna try for a slightly more intense RP feel. We're only
taking it up 1 level from what it was, but please keep it RP-ish.
To help with RPing:
The Assassins and The Order aren't very fond of each other, but won't
necessarily attack each other. Unless, say, an incident occurs.
Griefing is ONLY allowed if it had a purpose (i.e. breaking into
someone's house to rob their chests). And don't go overboard... unless
it's a siege. The same goes for killing people.

I don't think the server is up and if you create/join a rouge faction(sky people/sand people) then i think mercenary would replace the position of guard.
Another alternate is a third faction, an advernturer's/merchant's guild, would solve that problem. We have about 3 Ops, so this faction could have a leader very quickly.
Lastly, a nomadic person, like an adverturer or sellsword, who could go around without being attacked would serve this function

remember earlier when the order was up against the assassins? there was some one making a charizard sprite (shiny would have been better). even though i was bringing destruction upon the town, I didn't go near that thing. pokemon is awesome, and i respect the choice of making that.
p.s. use netherrack for the tail, the fire will look awesome!

During the period of time while plops server is down I will be running a RP server where we will continue the fight a/o peace between the Assassins, the Order, the Sky Person, and the Sand People, I do not have the original map so the current map is a blank one. When plop puts his server back up I will take mine down and join his. The rules are the same, jobs from the previous world are the same. the ip address is 76.11.104.116

As a notice, with plopper's approval, a trade guild has been started. This will be a neutral zone to train merchants and regulate prices, ect.
It will train both sides, and your side must be chosen before you join. any fighting will be dealt with severely.
Lastly, this will promote some spirt of inter-faction trade between merchants(hopefully), however, that should be confined to peace.
I can't think of anything else to say, so there.

Dude if you want to run a server KEEP IT ONLINE, maybe instead of hosting it yourself use like xenonservers.com, i've in the last 2 weeks tried to connect and its ALWAYS been offline, I am an OP.

but then you have to start regulating trade values anyway, and since we have RS as a currency anyway, it's just easier to regulate prices by guild rules. Also, this will help kinda keep things in the RP spirit by simulating the old ages guild system. And it'll make sure no merchant extortes high prices. Just to be sure, Drake will be making tunnels under the merchant shops to keep watch.

As promised, work has begun. It's in a mountian near the spawn(neutral terrotory) and has quarters for both sides. Please be warned, the passage in the back of the trade center(bottom floor) is for assasins ONLY! While guest quarters will be built(for night time when monsters get turned on) If you plan to be a merchant, you will have to build your own quarters. Materials will be provided for that, however, as the origional post stated, you will have to get your own items to sell. I will accept some employees for the trade area underground, but i'll only need 2. If a rare items is found mining by someone and you need extra cash, please sell it at the trade guild. That's all i can think of for now, so bye.

Yeah, My fault. I was trying to build something and I used a bit of dynomite. one thing lead to another, and yeah, boom. big hole in the middle of town. I'll try to fix it. I think I have some lapris, so I'll apply to be a Op so I can generate the items needed to rebuild.

We need someone as an independent to manage a small temple/alter thing. Yes, sounds boring, but well, we need some kind of person to help during wars. The building is located within Merchant's guild jurisdiction, so yes, they will be able to be of 1 faction or another, and i will pay you, but the high priest thing person must be neutral.

No, there are no instant promotions. We have all the admins we need. Also, if you had read the first post, Plopper said that they were the admin for the assasins, don't ask. We have, i'd guess about 6-8 Ops, and the Co-owners are Plopper63 and WoMBricks. To get a promotion to Op, it will cost either 500RS or 4 lapis.

I am currently making a tower called the champion's tower. It's purpose: to hold the faction games. the faction games is what it sounds like. It's a time when the factions come together and participate in a selection of games to see who wins. the winners get a glorious prize that I haven't come up with yet. I'm currently think up games for the factions to play. I need some help making the game arenas. It may be called a tower, but it's really just a floating area where the games will be held. The tower is out behind the assassin's town. I will except help from any faction as long as they promise not to do anything to the assassin's town.

same here, plus it's not isolated to the order. I've seen the sand person city has been damaged, plus my outpost near the order manor has been too. It's not an isolated incident. My main Guild building has been damged and stolen from twice. Also, some items have been stolen from assasin buildings. The only reason i know this is because of my former belonging to the assasins before i got permission to make the merchant's guild and i've been checking diffrent prices like in the store in the sand person's town has(btw, shopowner, good job on pricing). I've been watching since items were stolen from the hotel(and they have been twice!) and i have no idea who it is. It seems to be when we're all off that it happens, so i recommend that now people start securing their doors with other materials and even changing to iron doors.

Might also be a good Idea to hide your personal and/or rare stuff by putting a chest in a place that is 100% hidden and in a place no one will think to look.

if so, then that could mean that since the server is outdated, and you dont have the update since people who bought it in beta have to pay for updates, it might not have the "Outdated Server" message on your version.

My guess is that the server that Plop got working is a back up or his original file. World of Minecraft has the full file. If I'm correct, once World of Minecraft gets on and updates the full file, we'll have everything back.

well, the old server got terminated literally and i am in the process of registering a new server with a max of 10-15 people, so it doesn't crash when im gone
the assassins are going to live in a new sand temple that i built! All the story is the same, it will have nether support, raids, maybe RPG-style leveing etc.

Lewis-No, the server normally won't be up 24/7, but if Plop got a full time host, then it will be.
BlackMantaMan-If we follow the old procedures still, you gotta pay Plop a certein amount of lapis of diamond, nobody got free promotes(not even me, tho if I'll get it back, I'm not sure)so chances are, you won't just freely become Op, and admin is highly in doubt.

well, at least i still have admin powers, right? but unfortanantly, I'm on a different server now. but you know what? I'll be on that server 4 a few days, then this server 4 a few days, repeat and repeat. It'll be nice seeing you guyz again. The leader of the order?/ a clan that faded away, ChrisHex.

I have had problems with the server, the host says i owe them over $100 dollars and the server will be terminated, and it has because of two things, the money issue and fights over "hacking." 123systems thinks i hacked into the server computer and says that i could go to jail... what bull**** plus i kinda gave up on beta, I have been playing classic and this is the server i'm on "0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.VapidFlats"
I am currently donator so come-on down and join.
Sadly also my computer blue screened and i lost everything, including the world files. Again i am sorry and hopefully i can restart the server idea and will keep you up to date on the server.
