problems with World of Minecraft

ok my World of Minecraft is f.u.b.a.r right now i think ive searched the forums and i still cant find the prob what happens is i can sign in and get to the server list but when i try to go into a server World of Minecraft opens in the smallest window i put a pic of what it looks like on this post. whenever i try to maximize it it it becomes unresponsive and says "Java (TM) Platform SE Binary is not responding" idk what to do =/. any help would be greatly appreciated
