To put this quick there was an issue with an update that effected 2/3 of Minecraft players, so Mojang is asking that everyone change there password with their login and their Mojang accounts.

Unlike many other communities, World of Minecraft Network was never affected by the heartbleed bug.
This happened a long time ago. Everything is fixed now. Only a few accounts got hacked. The only thing mojang is worried about right now is if it happens again.
but everyone still should update their accounts if they logged in during some of this.
The leak has been fixed, but people still need to know and change their passwords since there is no way to know who's account info was stolen. The people with it could just sit on it and use it slowly to avoid triggering suspicion or they could sell it. Both scenarios would result in a delay in the actual account hack. Everyone still needs to change their passwords.
Thanks for the sticky and front page :) it's like an achievement almost :P

The hackers can still have the passwords of everyone who logged in. Fixing Heartbleed doesn't make your login info evaporate in the hands of hackers.
