Running a server on hamachi?

Is it possible to run a minecraft server on hamachi?
I can't get port forwarding right and I'm pretty sure if there is a way to get it to have the server based on it i could just use hamachi.
Would this work?
If not can anyone help me with manual port forwarding without a router just a modem
