Alright, I'm here's the deal. PVP will be gone in a few weeks! We need to save the server! IMO, it's the best server! Everyone please post on this saying SAVE PVP! Thank you! I want the server to be saved! Also, if you want more information on this topic, check out my forum post A little heads-up here! Thank you guys for helping me out! I want pvp to stay since I've recently got better. But I doubt snow will keep it. And Im sure that this will get locked because it'll turn into an argument. Also snow said that pvp will be replaced with something cool which should be cool cause it was said by the all mighty snowglobe.

Guys guys we are coming to the rescue awfully to late, plus a lot of people don't play for reason that have been stated before. (Not going to get into that) What i'm trying to say PvP had it's day and it had to eventually fade. Maybe it will come back in the future like World of Minecraft:Main did. To wrap up I think i'd be great if it go turned into a ctf/hg etc server.. It would bring new crowds to World of Minecraft :D

Hub and CMP brought crowds at first then lost em so those servers will do the same

Pvp still has people. I play on it along with bronze, silver, koley, and liquid.
EDIT: also I saw jdude, morph and cj on there the other day

Yep. We have players on there. Take my clan for instance. it has 7 members now! And those are all recent.

now the hunger games would be fun, but people still like pvp i would play on it more often if more people were on it, and being in battle is fun. i still say we should keep pvp, if only more people would play on pvp

As of what I know, PvP will be taken off and there will be a PvP arena probably in SMP.

Yeah I heared that they might add pvp to SMP but then there u are just walking around and the BAM! Someone decides to kill u. Also some people would think that griefing would be aloud and that would be bad..

Haven't you guys noticed you're only naming people you are allied with? Where are the opponets. I sound like I don't like pvp I know. But I love pvp it was the first thing I got good at MC and how I came to World of Minecraft. When thing come to an end you just got to accept it. That's all I have to say now.

SMP will stay SMP there will be No griefing nor will pvp be in the actual server it self, they will probably just add a pvp arena like back in the second map I was in (I don't even know), It would be for fun. Also dont listen to other people in the server, what the admins say will be final.

There are servers specifcally for just pvp. World of Minecraft was just a SMP server. There will probally be a new HG server coming, so there, pvp.

I went on today just for the heck of it, I relaized that it is still a valid fun server, I am not as devoted as blaster or boller, but I dont think World of Minecraft should get rid of pvp entirely.

Since PVP is fun, but I would love to see a minigame server, what if there were two maps on the server? One for the minigames, and one for survival?

I am a person who plays minecraft for pvp but i think if we add shops and put in factions in pvp it would become alot more popular in my opinion because most servers i play on that are good pvp wise are those types of servers.

I totally agree with XGHOSTxSHADOWX about the shops and factions. I play on some servers that Ghost plays on and trust me they get over 100 at a time. Another thing that they share is nether access to all.
