I have followed all of the guides, I first download Simple port forwarding.

Then I select My router.

Right click the white space And click 'Add New'

Click Add Custom, then For the Name, I put 'Mcrft'

Leave the type as 'tcp/udp'

Enter 25565 for the start and end port.

And Leave the ip adress alone.

Then Click Add.

I then click 'update router'

When it finishes, I go to Tools>Windows Firewall Port Exceptions>Add Current Ports List.

I download PfPort Checker

Add  25565 as the port number.

Leave the Proctol as 'TCP'

Then Click Check Me.
 
It says 'Your port is NOT OPEN or not reachable!'



Then I download the server software (I understand that)


I am On Windows Vista Home Basic.




I would love any help i could get, As I woul really like to run a server!
