Server loading issue...

I load the run.bat file, and I can log in to minecraft just fine to see the server list. But when I try to go into a server, it always pops up with an error like this:
org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated
What does that mean? and how do I fix it? Please help!
