The spam threshold is annoying (No offence)

I'd just like to start off by saying that I do like the spam threshold feature, I mean, it works and does it's job. The problem is, it does it's job TOO good and I cant engage in a simple conversation on my own realm without being caught out by it and silenced.
I think it would be good if,
a) We could enable/disable the spam threshold on our realms and clan chat.
b)It didn't exist in our clan chat/realm chat at all.
I still think that it should be left in the game, I mean, like I said it works great against the ACTUAL spammers. I just think that it shouldn't be as harsh. Perhaps a 25 second silence, and if the spamming/fast paced talking continues on after that it should just automatically kick them.
